Cyberspace browser similar Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome

Overview:

This article will show how to edit or alter the existing wireless settings of the WN3000RP.

Symptoms:

Client wanted to alter his wireless SSID and countersign.
Some wireless device that cannot connect to the current settings of the WN3000RP.

Resolution:

Make sure that the wireless computer, tablet or smartphone is connected to the WN3000RP's wireless network.
Open up any Cyberspace browser and access www.mywifiext.net or mywifiext.net/start.htm
When prompted, type admin every bit default username and countersign for default password.

Click Setup and then Wireless Setup.
Delete the existing SSID and type the preferred new ane.

Note: You can set the SSID to be the same as your main network.

Select the preferred security type under Security Options.
Blazon the desired Password or Network Cardinal.
Click Apply.

Note: The wireless device or computer will be disconnected to the one-time network. Use the wireless client utility to reconnect to the new wireless network contour.
